Rose Window in West Gable

#1 – A lamb on a book with seven seals. "Who is worthy to break the seals and open the scroll? ….Then I saw a Lamb standing in the center of the throne." Rev. 5:1-10

#2 – A dove in flight. "Then heaven opened to Him, and he saw the Spirit of God coming down like a dove and lighting on Him." Matt. 3:13-17.

 

#3 – Teaching window with The candle. "Jesus spoke: 'I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will have the light of life.'" John 8:13

#4. Teaching window with the two Greek letters, Alpha and Omega. "I am the Alpha (A) and the Omega (W), the first and the last, says the Lord God Almighty, who is, who was, and who is to come." Rev. 1:8

 

#5 The Sheaves of Wheat. "Jesus said, 'I am the bread of life.'" "He also took a piece of bread and said, This is my body." John 6:48 Matt. 26:26

#6 The Cluster of Grapes. "Then he took a cup and gave it to them. 'Drink it, all of you.'" Matt. 26:27

 

#7- A bag of 30 pieces of silver. "They counted out thirty pieces of silve and gave them to Judas." Matt. 26:15

#8 – A crown of thorns as was placed on Jesus. The letters INRI are Latin initials of "Jesus of Nazareth, King of the Jews." Matt. 27:37

#9 – The whip used to scourge Jesus before he was crucified. "Then Pilate took Jesus and had him whipped." John 19:1

#10 – The empty cross and linen shroud represent the resurrection.

"Suddenly there was a violent earth quake and an angel of the Lord came down from heaven and rolled the stone away." Matt. 28:2

#11 – A hand signing the first and last letters of Jesus Christ (IS XS). "Therefore I glory in Christ Jesus" Romans 15:17

#12 – The butterfly is a symbol of eternal life. "But the truth is that Christ has been raised from death, as the guarantee that those who sleep in death will also be raised." I Cor. 15:20
