THE CHALICE

The Chalice with St. Andrew's Cross is a symbol of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). The Chalice symbolizes the central place of Communion in worship while the X-shaped St. Andrew's Cross focuses on the Scottish Presbyterian roots of the church. The Cross also stresses the laity and evangelism with which St. Andrew was associated.
